Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus gets better with June security update

Samsung rolled out June security update for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus smartphone. If you work with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus handset, you should receive an update, which is being pushed via OTA. You should receive an automated message notification prompting you to install the update. You can also manually verify for the update by navigating Settings icon.

With build number G928FXXS3CQFA, the June security update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus includes bug fixes and improvements. Samsung has addressed the concerns of the customers provided via the feedback system in the form of fixes to various problems.

Like all other previous updates, the size of the patch will be small since it is a security build. Hence, you can make use of 4G mobile data to download the update. However, you can also use Wi-Fi connectivity if you prefer stability during the update process. If you use Wi-Fi, you can avoid data charges.

Last but not the least, you should capture a backup of all your existing data, which includes images and videos before the installation of the update. You can skip this step since the security update normally will not cause any trouble.
