Vodafone is gearing up to release Android 7.1 Nougat update for Sony Xperia X and Xperia Z5 in Australia. According to the official Vodafone website, the latest update is currently under testing phase.
The US-based mobile carrier will roll out the full version of Android 7.1 Nougat only if there are no problems found during the testing mode. The product team will address all issues reported by the developers and customers after testing the software bits.
The company took to the official community page and disclosed the fact that they have scheduled the testing of Android 7.0 Nougat for Xperia XA. Moreover, the Sony Xperia Z5 will most likely get Android 7.1 Nougat update. If you have Sony Xperia X, you will most likely work with Android 7.1.1 Nougat in the upcoming future.
Google has added a wide range of features for the Android 7.1 Nougat. The features include split-screen, improved multitasking, enhanced Doze mode, app shortcuts, circular app icons, bluelight filter in addition to Daydream VR.
