Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, Tab S2, Tab 4 and Tab E gets better with June security update

Samsung has started to roll out June security update for the Galaxy Tab S3, Tab S2, Tab 4 and Tab E tablets. If you work with any of the tablets, your should verify the presence of the update. It will take few days for the update to hit your devices because of the nature of OTA rollouts.

The June security update is pushed to both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. While the Wi-Fi model is tagged with T820XXU1AQF3, the 4G LTE variant will be made available via build number T825XXU1AQF3.

The update for the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 LYE variant bears build number T715CZCU2CQF1. However, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 3G model is being made available via T531XXU1AQD1 as build number. When it comes to the Galaxy Tab E, the June security update will hit the tablets with build number T560NUUEU1BQF1.

You should install the update because it will provide the much-needed protection for your tablet. In addition to bug fixes, the update also includes performance enhancements and improvements. You will experience enhanced reliability and stability when you work with the tablet.

If you are unable to view a message notification, you should manually verify the presence of the update by navigating to Settings menu. You need to select About option from the System updates page. Before initiating the download, you need to establish connectivity with Wi-Fi and charge the tablet up to 100 percent to avoid interruption during charging.
