Meizu Pro 7 Expected To Ship With Helio X30 Processor

Meizu is gearing up to launch a new smartphone with the name Meizu Pro 7. The highlight of the handset is the addition of Helio X30 processor. According to rumors, the upcoming Meizu Pro 7 smartphone will launch on July 26. However, there is no confirmation from the company.

In addition to the rumored secondary display, the Meizu Pro 7 will ship with Mediatek Helio X30 chipset. The tech geeks have been waiting for a long time for the launch of Helio X30 smartphone. The Helio X30 is designed based on 10nm manufacturing process. Hence, you can expect low heating without sacrificing performance.

According to reports, the new Helio X30 processor will compete heavily with the Snapdragon 835 processor. The performance of the new processor will be at par with the likes of Samsung Galaxy G8 and Galaxy S8 Plus handsets. The processor was announced in 2016 and the tech community people are eagerly waiting to experience the real world performance.

Dubbed as MT6799, the Helio X30 consists of two Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.5GHz, four Cortex-A53s at 2.2GHz including another four A35s at 1.9GHz. Hence, you can see that the new processor is deca-core. When it comes to the graphics, Mediatek has migrated to a PowerVR 7XTP-MT4 running at 800MHz.

Along with the 4K display, the Helio X30 also provides support for 8GB RAM coupled with UFS 2.1 storage. Moreover, it will also provide support for LYE cat-10, Imagiq 2.0 and 3x carrier aggregation.

On the specifications front, the Meizu Pro7 ships with a 5.2-inch FHD display, dual rear camera in addition to mCharge capability. The expectations are high since there is a variable comparison with smartphones powered by Snapdragon 835 processor.
