Within less than one month after the official launch, a third update has been rolled out to OnePlus 5. With software version Oxygen OS 4.5.5, the latest batch of the update oriented for OnePlus 5 includes several improvements.
The capacity of the update is only 59MB and hence you will be able to install the update easily. After the installation of the update, the WiFi connectivity of your OnePlus 5 will improve to a large extent.
The video recording capability will improve, which enhances the performance of the battery. The update also includes improvements for voice calling. Moreover, you will find that the vibration intensity when receiving calls has been decreased drastically.
When it comes to the bug fixes, the update fixes an issue associated with the Wi-Fi signal that has been displayed as weak. If the app is not working properly under IPv6 network settings, then you should verify now because the problem has been resolved in the latest update.
OnePlus has rolled out the update via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update message notification to appear on the phone. However, you can manually verify the existence of the update by navigating to Settings | About device | System update menu option.
Furthermore, you need not have to charge the handset up to 100 percent because the size of the update is only less than 60MB. You can easily install the update either via Wi-Fi or mobile data. We recommend activation of Wi-Fi for the installation of updates.
