Asus has rolled out a new software update with the latest security patch and bug fixes for Asus ZenFone 3 Laser and ZenFone 2 Laser smartphones. While the update for the Asus ZenFone 2 Laser is tagged with software version V21.40.1220.2161, the build number for the ZenFone 3 Laser gets a value of 30.42.31.1.
If you download and install the patch, your device will be updated with latest updates, which is essential for the functioning of your smartphone. Moreover, Asus also resolved the Bluetooth compatibility problem associated with ZenFone 2 Laser.
The update for Asus ZenFone 3 Laser (ZC551KL) fixes stability related issues with the UI in addition to improving the user experience by resolving system bugs.
The update is being pushed via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the new software to hit the Asus smartphones. If the update is available, you will view a message notification. You can also manually check the presence of the update by tapping the Settings icon.
