Essential Phone PH-1 release imminent with Bluetooth certification

Essential Phone A11 has received Wi-Fi certification, which is required for every smartphone before its official release. If you think that the smartphone with model number A11 is a new device, then you are wrong. The device is the same as the Essential PH-1 handset that has been recently released by the company.

The highlight of the Essential Phone A11 is the integration of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Moreover, the phone will feature frequency bands of 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The Essential PH-1 phone also received the required regulatory approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US.

Launched on May 30, the Essential Phone was expected to ship to pre-order customers from June 30. The delay in the shipment of the Essential phone is attributed to the difficulties in the sourcing of raw materials from the supply chain companies.

In a statement released to the press, the Essential COO Niccolo de Masi disclosed that the release of the Essential Phone is imminent in the US. However, we don’t have any specific date on which the phone will ship to customers who have been waiting after placing pre-orders. The phone is expected to hit the retail shelves through Sprint in the US.

Initially, the Essential Phone will launch in the US. We don’t have any accurate information about the launch of the phone in other regions. However, the reports indicate the fact that the phone will launch in Japan, UK, and Europe based on the feedback from US-based customers.

Interestingly, Brian Wallace, Essential’s vice-president of marketing and Andy Fouche, Head of Communications resigned from the company. There are unconfirmed reports that the delay in the shipment of the phone is attributed to the exit of top management people.
