LG is gearing up to launch LG V30 smartphone on August 31. The rumor assumes significance with the smartphone appearing on Bluetooth SIG.
Based on the document sourced from the Bluetooth site, the upcoming LG V30 is expected to ship with Bluetooth 4.2 instead of 5.0. Previously, there were rumors that the handset will ship with Bluetooth 5.0 support.
With declaration ID D035452, the LG V30 bears a QD ID of 92082 and model number LG-H970. In the description section, we can find that the phone will provide support for Bluetooth 4.2 and also a wide range of profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, DI, GAVDP, HID, MAP, OPP, PAN, ScPP, HSP, HOGP, PBAP, SAP, HDP, and HFP.
As always, the official Bluetooth SIG listing doesn’t disclose any information about the handset. However, the rumor mills state that the LG V30 will ship with a FullVision display comprising of aspect ratio 18:9 and Snapdragon 835 processor. In addition to wireless charging, the LG V30 includes dual 13MP sensors on the rear powered by a 3200mAh battery.
Moreover, the phone will have smaller bezels when compared with Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The phone will not include a secondary display like the previous counterparts.
