The company has delivered media invites with the tagline Do bigger things on the display. We can see the two portions of the display on both left and right-hand sides alongside S Pen facing the middle of the word bigger. Towards the bottom portion of the right-hand side, you can see the word Unpacked in all caps alongside the date. You will also view the official website of Samsung where you can watch the live webcast of the whole launch event.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Unpacked

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launch date assumes significance with the imminent launch of iPhone 8 in September. Moreover, Samsung is on the verge of occupying the retail shelves before Apple.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Samsung is taking all the required steps to make sure that the Galaxy Note 8 is fault free. The production team is reportedly working to conduct eight-point battery test to ensure the safety of the phone. The number 8 assumes importance since it matches with that of the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.

Talking about the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 12MP dual rear cameras powered by a 3300mAh battery.

The product package will have S Pen using which you can easily interact with your handset. The attraction of the phone is the addition of Android 7.1 Nougat, which enables you to work with all the latest features such as split-screen, improved notifications and enhanced Doze mode.

In addition to all the above features, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also ship with Bixby voice assistant. Hence, we infer that the phone will carry a dedicated Bixby button on the right side. If you press on it, you will be able to perform a wide range of tasks identical to that of Siri and Google Assistant.
