T-Mobile has rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update for LG V10 smartphone. The smartphone got the same Nougat update for customers based in Hong Kong recently.
With software version H90130b, the update for LG V10 includes not only full-fledged Android Nougat but also bug fixes related to the E911 timer. Moreover, the update includes Google software and stability related fixes. If you install the update, the performance of your LG V10 will improve to a large extent.
If you have access to LG V10, you will be able to experience the new features of Android Nougat such as quick app switching, split-screen functionality, improved notification shade. Moreover, the latest update will also introduce a clear recent apps button, quick settings row including enhanced power saving capabilities.
Touted as a successor to the upcoming LG V30, you need to activate Wi-Fi before initiating the download process of the Android Nougat update. Moreover, you should charge the handset up to 95 percent to avoid interruption during the update installation.
You should note that the update is a full blown Android Nougat. Hence, it will take at least 30 minutes to download the update measuring over 1.5GB. If you are eligible, you will view an update message notification. You can also manually check the presence of the update by tapping Settings icon.
