Samsung is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8 on August 23. However, even before the official release, there are plenty of talks on the town about the smartphone in the form of rumors. The latest development is that new third-party case renders of the handset have surfaced on the web via Slashleaks and BGR.
The new renders mainly show the side of the upcoming handset. In the first image, we can see the Samsung followed by a button. in the straight vertical position.
The second image also displays the same side but at the different angle. You can expect a dedicated button for the activation of Bixby assistant.
Meanwhile, BGR also released several renders of the Galaxy Note 8. However, they have specifically stated that the images are mock-ups created by a third-party case manufacturer and not the official images. The image shows a wallpaper in Blue color with the almost bezel-less display on both sides. However, the top and bottom portion have slight bezels to accommodate the front-facing snapper.
In the second render reportedly created by a smartphone case manufacturer Ghostek, we can clearly spot the dual rear camera sensor placed horizontally alongside LED flash. We can also visualize an oval shaped fingerprint scanner alongside the traditional Samsung logo on the rear side.
Interestingly, BGR also displays the look and feel of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from all possible angles.
The site also showcases the smartphone from all angles via Ghostek. As you can see, the case manufactured by the company looks rugged with hard red curves on all the four sides.
Upon inspection of the images, we can infer that the Galaxy Note 8 will ship with a higher screen to body ratio, which is different from the recently released Galaxy S8 series.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 processor, dual 12MP rear camera powered by a 3300mAh battery. The main attraction of the phone is the addition of an 18.5:9 aspect ratio alongside Exynos 8895 processor in some markets. The product package will have a refreshed S Pen stylus, which will have enhanced accuracy.
Even though the Galaxy Note 8 will launch on August 23, it will take at least September for the phone to hit the retail shelves. We expect pre-orders to start by the end of August.
