Verizon has rolled out July security update with bug fixes and patches for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones. The update is being made available via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the new software bits to hit the relevant smartphones.
The update for Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone is tagged with software version NRD90M.G935VVRU4BQG1. It includes email app related improvements for Knox business and enterprise users.
If the update is installed, it will also fix sluggish behavior within the Knox container in business email. Moreover, the update provides fixes to address the various lags, which ultimately ensures optimum performance alongside security improvements to various data.
When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, the device also ships with software version NRD90M.G930VVRU4BQG1. It also provides the same bug fixes and enhancements as in the Galaxy S7.
If the update is available, you will view a message notification inside the relevant devices. Alternatively, you can also manually verify the presence of the update by navigating to the Settings menu.
It is also important to charge the handset up to 90 percent to avoid trouble during the installation. The device should also be connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network in case of any worry about mobile charges.
