Samsung has started pre registration for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in Australia. With less than one month away for the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the start of pre-registrations in a foreign country is seen with much importance. Even though the handset will launch in August, it will take September for the company to ship the product to customers.
Samsung is not accepting payments from customers during the pre-registration process. The form prompts users to provide name, email, mobile number, Instagram, current device and mobile carrier.
While the name and email fields are compulsory, rest of them are optional. Moreover, customers should also accept the privacy policy and should also opt-in to receive marketing related communications from the company. Samsung will provide the required information via email to all people who have pre-registered. The current process is an expression of interest without any compulsion to purchase the device.

Touted as the first ever dual camera smartphone, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will ship with Infinity display, which will look identical to that of the Galaxy S8 series. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will launch on August 23 in New York. Initially, the smartphone will launch in the US and South Korea in September before throwing the device in other markets.
