Huawei is gearing up to launch Honor Note 9 smartphone. The company is also planning to launch Huawei Mate 10 by the end of 2017. According to Gizmochina, the upcoming Honor Note 9 will be integrated with Kirin 670 processor based on 12nm manufacturing process. Moreover, the Note 9 will ship with a full-screen display and the company is planning to unveil the device by the end of September.
The addition of a new Hisilicon Kirin 670 processor is expected to set new benchmarks. Recently, there were reports that the Note 9 will ship with Kiri 965. The integration of Kirin 670 will have significant performance gains and low power consumption without sacrificing performance.
The Kirin 970 processor will be manufactured based on the 12nm process. The chipset runs with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. Furthermore, the chip will have an advanced Mali G72 MP4 graphics processor. The gamers can rejoice because the process brings in advanced features to the table.
Based on the rumors, the upcoming Honor Note 9 is expected to ship with a display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a bezel-less design. The display will be protected with a 2.5D curved glass alongside narrow bezels both at the lower and upper edges. However, the sides will have a bezel-less display.
Talking about the specifications, the Huawei Note 9 features a 6.6-inch 2K display, 6GB RAM, a dual rear camera coupled with an 8MP selfie camera. Powered by a 5100mAh battery, the Note 9 is loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat based on EMUI interface.
