Lenovo has released the much-awaited Lenovo K8 Note with dual camera setup. The highlight of the Lenovo K8 Note is the integration of a 4000mAh battery alongside LED flash on the front for selfie enthusiasts. Moreover, the newly launched handset has been integrated with the stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is faster than the Vibe Pure UI. The company revealed that there are over 8.5 million K-Series smartphone users in India. The main purpose of the addition of stock Android is to improve the performance of the device.
Design
The Lenovo K8 Note is designed using 5000 series aluminium metal and polycarbonate. Moreover, the phone is also resistant to splashes with water-protected nano coating.
Display
The Lenovo K8 Note features a 5.5-inch FHD Corning Gorilla Glass protected display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is possible to read e-books and navigate the web with the large and crisp display.
Performance
The K8 Note is powered by a MediaTek MT6797 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM alongside 32GB/64GB expandable internal storage. It is possible to extend the storage capacity up to 128GB. The chipset is decacore. While the four Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 1.4GHz, the additional four Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 1.85GHz. However, the two Cortex-A72 cores run at a clock speed of 2.3GHz.

Camera
The highlight of the Lenovo K8 Note is the addition of a dual camera comprising of a 13MP primary and 5MP secondary sensors respectively. The secondary camera helps users to capture brilliant images with depth of field effects. The advantage of the K8 Note is the availability of the Pro mode for the selfie sensor. Prior to the launch of the handset, the Pro mode was only made available to the rear camera using which you can adjust ISO, shutter speed, and white balance. The front-side is equipped with a 13MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture with dual-LED flash.

Battery
The Lenovo K8 Note is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for rapid charging. The company has bundled 15W rapid charger inside the product box. According to Lenovo, the handset is the first phone to ship with a rapid charger out of the box. Moreover, the phone is capable of delivering 25 hours of talk time and 380 hours of standby time.

Connectivity
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Lenovo K8 Note provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USD including a traditional headphone port. The phone also includes several sensors such as ambient light and accelerometer including fingerprint sensor on the rear.

Audio enhancements
Lenovo has added Dolby Atmos support for improved audio performance. The handset also ships with a dedicated Music key located on the right edge using which you can control music playback. The key also functions as a mechanism to open a wide range of third-party applications.
Pricing and Availability
While the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12999, the premium 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model will be available for Rs. 13999. Touted as Amazon Exclusive, the Lenovo K8 Note can be purchased starting August 19, 12 PM. As part of the launch offer, the company is also providing 80 percent discount on e-books up to Rs. 300. Moreover, Idea users will be eligible to avail 64GB data with unlimited calls for 56 days for Rs. 343. Lenovo is also throwing out Moto Sports headphones at a discounted price of Rs. 699, which gives you a discount of Rs. 900 against the retail price.
