LG V30 Leak Hints At Glass Back Panel With Camera Bump

The live images of the upcoming LG V30 have been leaked through promotional materials. According to GSMArena, HitRecord had exclusive access to the handset. Upon inspection of the images, we can infer that the LG V30 ships with a shiny glass back panel. We can also spot dual rear cameras with a slight bump below the fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the LG V30 will also be equipped with thinner bezels when compared with LG G6.

LG has established partnerships with several people for testing the phone before the official release and the HitRecord was fortunate to receive one unit. Even though the testers need to strictly follow the rules as per the agreement, few people expose the secrets via several social media channels. Normally, manufacturers ask testers to share their feedback via closed community discussion forum.

The images of the LG V30 wen viral after the expose by HitRecord but the post was immediately taken down. We navigated to the source link posted by GSMArena and saw a message “Project does not exist”. However, the popular tipster Roland Quandt aka @rquandt was smart enough to grab all the images and shared them on his official Twitter account. It seems that tipsters never sleep and they constantly monitor the web for leaks.

Quandt tweeted the first post with four images along with the message “LG V30 leaked thanks to public HitRecord contest from LG” along with the URL.

Within few minutes, he again tweeted with another bunch of four images and he publicly thanked LG for running a contest. We don’t have any clue about what kind of contest he is talking about.

Talking about the specifications, the LG V30 is expected to ship with a 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM loaded with Android Nougat. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the LG V30 also includes wireless charging support. The phone will most likely launch at a pre-IFA event in Berlin on August 31.
