Just when Samsung is gearing up to launch the much-awaited Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, Meizu is also planning to unveil the M6 Note smartphone on the same day. The main attraction of the Meizu M6 Note will be the possible integration of a dual camera coupled with the quad LED flash.
Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also for the first time ship with the dual camera, Meizu M6 Note will be available at a budget price. However, features such as Bixby and Iris scanner will not be available on Meizu smartphones.
The alleged images of the rumored Meizu M6 Note has been leaked. The first render reveals the inside of the rear portion. We can see that the battery cover has been removed. We can clearly spot the battery alongside the two dual rear camera sensors placed vertically alongside the central axis of the handset. The top side also features parts of internal circuits including the presence of a quad LED flash.
The second leaked image shows the display in the Chinese language. We infer that this is a picture of the Settings page. While we can see two sensors placed on the top middle, the physical home button is located on the bottom. Meizu will probably integrate fingerprint sensor on the home button since there are no placeholders for he sensor on the rear.
Regarding the battery, we can spot the required regulatory approvals. However, we are unable to locate the capacity of the battery. Based on the previous rumors, the Meizu M6 Note will bear a 4000mAh battery.
On the specifications front, the Meizu M6 Note will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display, MediaTek P25 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13MP dual camera powered by a 4000mAh battery. To be loaded with Android Nougat, the phone is expected to be available for CNY 1599. Meizu will also push Android O update upon availability before the end of October 2017.
We don’t have any information about the specifications of the upcoming handset. However, we will continue to keep track of the developments. Stay tuned.
