Essential Phone Rumored To Hit Sprint On August 18

Essential is scheduled to unveil the PH-1 smartphone before the end of August. Recently, the company disclosed that the Essential phone will launch within a week. However, the estimated time frame is over and there is no response from the company. The company is currently gearing up to conduct a First Look Event on August 25, where the phone will be showcased to the world. During the event, Andy Rubin will also reveal the features of the phone.

There are reports that the company will start shipment of the Essential Phone after the event on August 25. The latest development comes in the form a Reddit post. A Reddit user with the handle @andrewmackoul confirmed the news of the possible availability of the Essential Phone on August 18 via Sprint by uploading a relevant image.

The image reveals the fact that the Essential Phone will be made available via Sprint on August 18. Moreover, you can earn $20 on each qualified activation. However, few Reddit user replied back with the comment that the handset will launch on 2018 since there is no credible information from the company regarding the launch.

There is a possibility that Sprint variants of the Essential PH-1 handset will start shipping before the August 25 event. Meanwhile, Andy Rubin replied back to a Twitter user on August 11 that the smartphone will be first shipped to customers who have pre-ordered the handset.

After 5 days of his Rubin’s revelation, we now have a news of a possible Sprint launch. The company is constantly changing tracks and we don’t know which is correct. Rubin is the main face of the Essential and you have to believe him if you had placed the pre-order of the phone.

If you are a customer of Sprint, you should constantly monitor and grab the handset if you are interested. We don’t have any information about the pricing of the Sprint model. However, the phone will be made available either in lump sum payment option or installment basis based on credit rating.
