Sharp Aquos S2 has been sold out in China within 24 hours through flash sale via JD.com. The Chinese-based retailer started to sell the Sharp Aquos S2 on August 14 and the stocks vanished in less than 24 hours. There was a huge demand from the part of the customers and supplies were limited.
The retailer has announced that another round of sale will be held on August 18. However, you need to register on the site to purchase the handset. We expect that the stocks will sell out very fast this time as well. Hence, you need to buy the product immediately after the start of the sale.
Priced at CNY 2500, the Sharp Aquos S2 is equipped with a 5.5-inch bezel-less display with a resolution of 2040×1080 pixels and 520nits coupled with a contrast ratio of 1500. The phone is integrated with Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage powered by a 3020mAh fast charging battery. The display looks similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S8 series without any bezels on either side.
Talking about the optics, the Aquos S2 bears a dual camera comprising of 12MP and 8MP sensors. The front camera is loaded with an 8MP sensor coupled with f/2.0 aperture. It also provides support for HDR including various modes such as beauty, panorama, filter, scene, and the flip camera.
Sharp also sells an international variant powered by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage for CNY 3300. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model are priced at CNY 3800. Even though shipping is free, you still need to pay import duties as per the laws of your country.
