Alcatel U5 HD Launched: Everything You Want To Know

Alcatel has launched the much-awaited Alcatel U5 HD smartphone loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat coupled with a front flash. Touted as a successor to the Alcatel U5 released during the sidelines of the MWC 2017, the Alcatel U5 HD is an upgraded variant and has been launched in Pure White and Volcano Black color variants.

Alcatel U5 HD is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, MediaTek MT6737 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. With a clock speed of 1.1GHz, the Alcatel U5 HD is powered by a 2200mAh battery that is capable of delivering a backup of four hours and standby time of 200 hours. It is also possible to extend the storage up to 128GB.

While the rear camera features an 8MP sensor with support for autofocus and LED flash, the front-facing camera bears a 5MP sensor with support for LED Flash. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Alcatel U5 HD provides support for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS including micro-USB port. The phone enables users to insert two SIM cards.

We don’t have any information about the pricing and availability of the Alcatel U5 HD smartphone. Based on the previous rumors, we expect the company to unveil the handset in September at IFA 2017.
