Samsung Galaxy Active S7 On AT&T Active Gets better With August Security Update

AT&T has rolled out August security update for the Samsung Galaxy Active S7 Active smartphone. With software version G891AUCS2BQH1, the latest update for the Galaxy Active S7 Active is being pushed via OTA includes security bug fixes including improvements. Due to the nature of the update, it will take few days for the message notification to hit your handset.

In addition to the security patch, the August security update for the Samsung Galaxy Active S7 Active also addresses security related vulnerabilities. It also resolves bugs reported by the customers based on the from the previous build. After the installation of the update, the Galaxy S7 Active will have improved performance and stability.

Before proceeding to download the update, it is advisable to charge the handset up to 90 percent and also establish connectivity with Wi-Fi. If you are unable to view a message notification prompting you to install the update, you need to wait for few more days. Alternatively, it is also possible to verify the presence of the update by tapping Settings icon.

To recall, Samsung had launched the Galaxy Note 8 with a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display, Exynos 8895/Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 12MP dual camera, 8MP front-facing camera powered by a 3300mAh fast charging support.
