Huawei has rolled out a fresh update to the Huawei P9. With software version number EVA-AL10C00B396, the update to Huawei P9 includes a Live Photo capability. The update also ships with advanced features such as sweep parity, scanning questions, student mode, and wonderful moments including dynamic photos.
The company has introduced these features in Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus. If you have access to Huawei P9, you should check for the update message notification. Alternatively, it is also possible to verify the presence of the update by tapping the Settings icon. The installation of the update will help users to work with all the core features available in the P10 model.
The latest update to Huawei P9 also comes with performance improvements for a wide range of games, social media applications, and other system related modules. Moreover, the camera app has been updated with the activation of the RAW format. The selfie camera also got new features including performance and system-related improvements.
The overall capacity of the update measures 464MB and can be easily installed even with the mobile data. However, it is advisable to establish connectivity with Wi-Fi before proceeding to install the update. The device should also be charged up to 90%, which ensures uninterrupted installation.
As you can observe from the above screenshot, the user has installed the update and the battery level shows 29%. Hence, even if your Huawei P9 has 40% battery, it is very much possible to install the update without any problem.
