Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was recently released with Bixy voice assistant and Iris scanner. According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be available in India on September 25. However, the pre-orders will kick start on September 11, which is one day ahead of the official launch of iPhone 8.
Previously, it was widely reported that the new phone will be priced at Rs. 75000, which is around $1170. The latest rumor is that the Note 8 will hit Indian shores for Rs. 70000, which is less than the previous claims.
Even though it will be possible to place orders via Amazon starting September 11, the phone will ship after September 25. The company is also planning to sell the Galaxy Note 8 through retail stores across India. Expected to be available in Black and Gold color variants, the company is rumored to provide a free wireless charger for all customers who place pre-order of the device.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is equipped with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The rear side features a dual 12MP camera sensor with support for OIS, autofocus, 2x optical zoom and dual-LED flash. On the front, the Note 8 integrates an 8MP sensor with support for dual video call and auto-HDR.
A 3300mAh battery with fast charging support provides power for the handset. The addition of Android Nougat helps users to work with all the latest features such as split-screen functionality, improved multitasking, and enhanced power saving mode.
We expect Samsung to roll out an update for Android 8.0 Oreo before the end of December 2017. However, you can expect Android Oreo to ship with Samsung Galaxy S9 series due to release at MWC 2018.
