Vivo is gearing up to launch FIFA-centric Vivo X20 smartphone within the next few days. The render of the handset has been leaked on Weibo via a user with the handle Engage in the king Wang Xiao Xiao.
The picture reveals the presence of a bezel-less display coupled with thin borders on the top and bottom portion. Moreover, we can spot the football logo with Russia 2018 below it. We infer that the upcoming Vivo X20 will be exclusively launched for the FIFA football tournament.
Touted as a successor to Vivo X9, the company has reportedly jumped to Vivo X20 by skipping X10 to X19. The leaked image shows that the upcoming Vivo X20 will be available in Black and White color variants alongside 18:9 display. The first impression after looking at the image is the presence of a Full Vision display identical to that of the LG G6 and Galaxy Note 8.
The left and right side don’t feature any bezels. However, the bottom and top edges have tiny bezels. We are unable to see the presence of a physical home button. Hence, there is a possibility that the home button could be integrated with the display.
As of this writing, we don’t have any image to show the rear side. Hence, there are not many details about the fingerprint sensor. According to rumors, the Vivo X20 will ship with an Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated on to the front display.
To recall, Vivo has established a strategic partnership with FIFA to become the official sponsor of 2018 and 2022 Football World Cup tournaments. The leaked renders show the Russia 2018 on the left side along with the official Football logo. Hence, the phone is released with the football world cup in mind.
