ZTE has started to push August security update with plenty of new features for the ZTE Axon 7 smartphone. With version number ZTE_A2017UV1.1.0B25, the August security update for ZTE Axon 7 provides support for multi-user, enhanced day dream, and improved battery performance.
The August security update for ZTE Axon 7 also adds support for Quick Settings tiles. The Night mode has been updated with adjustable scale. The update also adds modified notification from tone to vibrate on calls including resolution of problems associated with Android Pay. After the installation of the update, you will be able to update Hiya app from Google Play Store.
In addition to August Android security patches, the ZTE Axon 7 will also be protected against viruses and other threats. The update includes patches to fix several security vulnerabilities. After the installation of the update, the handset will work with improved stability without any lags.
The update rolled out to ZTE Axon 7 measures 793.24MB. Hence, it is advisable to establish connectivity with Wi-Fi before initiating the download process. Moreover, the handset should be charged to more than 80 percent to avoid interruption during the installation process.
The August security update is being made available via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for it to hit your handset. Alternatively, you can also verify the presence of the update by navigating to Settings icon.
