Microsoft has officially announced that the next edition of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be made available globally on October 17. The upcoming Creators Update will introduce fun and innovative ways to become creative. According to Terry Myerson, Executive Vice President, Windows and Devices Group, the update will deliver an enhanced imaging experience by making effective use of photos, videos, and 3D effects. Moreover, the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update brings in improvements to security, gaming, accessibility including immersive user experience via Windows Mixed Reality. Myerson revealed that Microsoft has established partnerships with hardware partners such as Lenovo, HP, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu and Acer to unveil new hardware devices integrated with the upcoming update. Myerson also outlined a list of core features of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Windows Inking

With Windows Inking feature, you will be able to ink directly onto PDF files. For instance, you can easily comment on the PDF file and also share with others. The productivity will improve to a great extent since you can quickly perform all the tasks instead of using pen and paper. Microsoft has developed Smart Ink technology with artificial intelligence. It inks in such a way to ensure that the squares you draw are more perfect. It is also possible to convert boxes into tables without any extra work. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update also introduces Windows Find my Pen modules, which helps users to keep track of their Pen.

Photos and Videos

Microsoft has refreshed the Photos application in such a way to provide enhanced UX for capturing stories using images, videos, music, 3D including inking.

OneDrive Files On-Demand

Microsoft has updated Game Mode in the Fall Creators Update.
