There are reports that Qualcomm will unveil the next-generation Snapdragon 836 processor on September 11. Hence, if Xiaomi decided to integrate the processor, you will have to wait till October to test drive the phone.

On the optics front, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will ship with a 20MP dual rear camera. If the rumor emerging from Weibo is to be believed, the upcoming Mi Mix 2 will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo.

The possibility of the addition of Oreo is less because Google Pixel 2 would be the first device to ship with the newly launched Android Platform. Even if Xiaomi integrates Oreo, then you will have to wait till October end or early November to experience the smartphone.

The leaked image points to a 4000mAH battery, which is normal in all the Xiaomi-branded handsets. Regarding pricing, you will have to pay $150 more than the currently available Mi Mix edition.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be a powerful bezel-less display handset with a wide range of features. The company released the first edition in November 2016. However, its availability was limited to China. Based on the previous trends, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will launch in China followed by other emerging markets.
