Finally, the much-awaited Xiaomi Mi A1 has been launched. Powered by the Android One platform, the Xiaomi Mi A1 helps you to experience the software designed exclusively by Google. If you compare the conventional Xiaomi smartphones, the handsets are loaded with MIUI platform. However, in the Mi A1, you will work with the Android One designed and developed by the search engine giant.
During the launch event, Xiaomi disclosed that the phone will provide pure Android experience with periodic updates. The handset also provides support for a wide range of Google services integrated into the device. The main attraction of the Mi A1 is the addition of the dual camera mechanism comprising a 12MP wide-angle and a 12MP telephoto lens.
Xiaomi also announced that the Mi A1 will be pushed with Android O update by the end of 2017. Moreover, the phone will be the first to receive Android P update slated to launch in August 2018.
Display
Designed in a full metal unibody, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD display protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The display is similar to that of the Redmi Note 4. The large display coupled with a massive resolution helps you to read plenty of content in a small display area and will be useful for app navigation and web browsing.
Performance
The Xiaomi Mi A1 is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, which is manufactured based on 14nm FinFET technology. The advantage of the new technology is that the phone delivered powerful performance with low power consumption and heat.

Running at a clock speed of 2.0GHz, the Mi A1 offers Adreno 506 graphics, 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB expandable internal storage.
Camera
The rear side is equipped with a dual camera with a 12MP wide-angle sensor alongside 1.25μm pixel size. It also offers a 12MP telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom. The purpose of the wide-angle lens is to help you with the depth of field measurement.

However, the 50mm telephoto lens will be capable of capturing the main image. Both lens work in tandem in such a way to produce a bokeh effect. Even though the telephoto lens provides 2x optical zoom support, the phone can crank up to 10x digital zoom if required. Like n all other Xiaomi handsets, the front camera bears a 5MP sensor.

Battery
The integrated 3080mAh battery in Xiaomi Mi A1 is sufficient to deliver a standby time of 2 days upon normal usage. With a weight of 165 grams, the phone measures 7.3mm thickness.
