ZTE has officially launched ZTE Blade A2S smartphone and will be available for sale starting September 8. Dubbed as a successor to ZTE Blade A2, the budget-friendly ZTE Blade A2S handset has been priced at CNY 699, which equates to $107. The ZTE Blade A2S is available for pre-order from JD.com.
While the ZTE Blade A2 features a 5-inch HD display, the newly launched ZTE Blade A2S ships with a 5.2-inch FHD (1920×1080, 423PPI) display. Moreover, the Blade A2S offers 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB expandable internal storage. If you look at the Blade A2, the handset was packaged with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.
Based on the latest technological trends, ZTE has increased the storage capacity to accommodate apps without using microSD card. The handset is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 processor running at a clock speed of 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T860 graphics.
On the optics front, the ZTE Blade A2S carries a 13MP rear camera alongside a 5MP front-facing camera. The fingerprint scanner is housed on the rear side. We don’t have any information about the version of the Android platform infused on to the device but it should be Android Nougat. A 2540mAh battery supplies the required power for the handset.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the ZTE Blade A2S provides support for all major connectivity features and sensors. The phone accepts dual Nano SIM cards with support for PDAF and HDR. The product package ships with a 5V/1.5A charger.
Nowadays, manufacturers have been shipping new smartphones with 32GB default storage. The main purpose of integrating 32GB is to helps users to install apps and store plenty of images and videos without using microSD cards. The price of CNY 699 for the newly launched Blade A2S is to be seen with positive mindset since the handset will meet the needs of budget users.
