Nubia M2 Play With Android Nougat launched: First Impressions

Nubia has launched the much-awaited Nubia M2 Play smartphone in Gold and Black color variants. The phone was already launched in China in June 2017. The highlight of the Nubia M2 Play is the integration of a large display coupled with Android Nougat.

The Nubia M2 Play features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) 2.5D display, Snapdragon 435 processor, Adreno 505 graphics, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The processor runs at a clock speed of 1.4GHz and the storage can be extended up to 128GB using micro-SD card.

The addition of Android 7.0 Nougat on top of Nubia UI 5.0 helps you to work with the latest features such as split-screen, improved notifications, and enhanced power saving mode via Doze functionality. With a fingerprint sensor embedded on the front, the Nubia M2 Play is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

While the rear camera ships with 13MP Sony CMOS sensor, the front-facing camera occupies a 5MP sensor. The rear camera integrated with Nubia M2 Play comes with f/2.2 aperture and provides support for LED Flash including CAF &  PDAF. The selfie camera bears a 5MP sensor with support for 84-degree wide angle sensor and f/2.4 aperture.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the smartphone also ships with support for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, Dual SIM including a traditional headphone jack. Priced at Rs. 8999, the Nubia M2 Play will be available exclusively on Amazon India in Gold and Black color variants.
