Verizon has pushed Android Nougat update for the Asus ZenPad Z10 tablet. With software version v5.4.4, the latest update for Asus ZenPad Z10 brings in the much-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat to your tablet. In addition to the new Android 7.0 Nougat, the update also installs August Android security update coupled with bug fixes.
According to Verizon, the Android 7.0 Nougat will improve the mobile experience of users by introducing new battery-related features alongside improvements to multitasking.
After the installation of the update, you will be able to work with Nougat features such as split-screen functionality, improved notifications, and enhanced power saving mode via Doze.
With multi-windows mode, it is possible to work with two different programs on the top and bottom. If a notification is tapped and hold, the relevant settings for the app will appear on the screen. The notification settings for the app will appear if you slide the notification either left or right and by tapping the gear icon.
The Android Nougat also integrates a new side panel for quickly navigating to Settings menu without any need to hit the back key. With the data saver module, it is possible to manage data usage by restricting background apps from running and consuming resources. The refreshed Doze mode helps you to optimize the battery anytime even if your screen is switched off.
