Intex has launched Aqua 5.5 VR+ smartphone loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat for Rs. 5799. Touted as the successor to Aqua 5.5 VR, the newly launched Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ handset will be exclusively available via Flipkart. The company has bundled VR Headset compatible with the smartphone and the relevant 3D content.
Commenting on the launch, Ishita Bansal, Product Head (Mobiles), Intex Technologies disclosed that the company has added a valuable product to their portfolio with the launch of the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ handset. Moreover, the product team is working towards creating an industry benchmark when it comes to the affordable smartphones with high-end premium features.
The smartphone is designed to deliver a high-quality experience and also to satisfy all users. Bansal added that the company is excited to establish a partnership with Flipkart in a bid to reach out to a mass audience.
On the specifications front, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) display, MediaTek MT6737V/W processor, Mali-T720 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone runs at a clock speed of 1.25GHz, which helps you to perform all the work at normal speed.
While the rear camera is equipped with an 8MP sensor with dual LED flash, the front-facing camera offers a 5MP camera sensor with LED flash. Powered by a 2800mAh battery, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ provides support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. With a weight of 176 grams, the phone measures 10.3mm thickness, which is pretty high for a smartphone.
Priced at Rs. 5799, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ will be available in Champagne White color variant exclusively via Flipkart. The device will ship with free 25GB of Reliance Jio 4G data. The Intex Aqua 5.5VR+ will be suitable for beginners and senior citizens who prefer to work with a large display phone at a budget price. The 2GB RAM will be sufficient to meet the requirements of low-end gaming.
