Motorola has rolled out an update for the Moto E4 Plus smartphone. With build number NMA26.42-82, the update brings in several bug fixes. After the installation of the update, the Moto E4 Plus will work with enhanced stability. In addition to bug fixes, the latest update also includes improvements related to performance.
There are reports on Lenovo forum that the new update has resolved a bug associated with the camera focus. Moreover, users were unable to send messages. However, we don’t have any idea as to whether the company has fixed the e-mail bug.
The update confirmation page doesn’t reveal any facts except the information about the update number. The update page clearly mentions that all the existing data on your phone will remain intact. Moreover, the handset cannot be used during the course of the installation including performing of emergency calls.
Moreover, the phone will reboot after the installation of the update. The screenshot sourced from The Android Soul reveals that the total installation time will take around 30 minutes. It is also possible to postpone the installation by selecting Later button.
Like in the case of all the previous OTA rollouts, it will take few days for the new software bits to appear on the handset. Alternatively, you can manually select the Settings icon to verify the presence of the update.
Before proceeding to download the update, it is advisable to establish connectivity with Wi-Fi and charge the handset up to 90%. You need not have to worry if you have connected the Moto E4 Plus to the AC power source.
