Firstly, you should capture a backup of all the important files, images and videos before proceeding to install the iOS 11. Even though the update process will be smooth, you need to backup because of safety reasons. Even if you have a mobile connectivity, you need to activate Wi-Fi and charge the device up to 100 percent before clicking the Download button.

The update process will take around 30 minutes depending upon the speed of your Wi-Fi connectivity. You will not be able to work with the device after initiating the Download process.

The iOS 11 ships with plenty of new features such as an improved control center, addition of Insight Heart, IKEA, and Sky Guide apps. Moreover, the App Store has been redesigned with improved Siri and Accessibility related features. Apple also added new photo effects. Moreover, the company is planning to introduce a new peer-to-peer payment tool before December 2017, which enable people to deliver messages over Siri.
