Huawei has launched the budget-friendly Huawei Maimang 6 smartphone in China at CNY 2399. Expected to ship starting September 30, the Huawei Maimang 6 handset is already available for pre-order in Obsidian Black, Aurora Blue, and Streamer Gold color variants.

Huawei Maimang 6 is equipped with a large 5.9-inch FHD+ (2160X1080) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, which helps you read content clearly. Like in the case of all other handsets, the 18:9 aspect ratio is fast becoming a standard for all handsets.
Performance
Powered by a Kirin 659 processor, the Huawei Maimang 6 features 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB of expandable (up to 256GB) internal storage. While the first four cores run at a clock speed of 2.36GHz, the remaining four cores is capable of running at 1.7GHz.
Camera
The rear side is integrated with a dual camera comprising of 16MP main sensor paired with a secondary 2MP sensor. When it comes to the front, you will again find a dual camera setup of 13MP sensor paired with a 2MP secondary selfie sensor. Based on the specifications, we infer that you will be able to capture stunning images and videos with the dual camera setup on both rear and front.
Operating platform
The Huawei Maimang 6 is a dual-SIM handset and is loaded with Android7.0 Nougat based on EMUI 5.1. You will be able to take advantage of the latest features such as split-screen, improved notifications and enhanced power saving mode.
Battery
With a weight of 164 grams, the Huawei Maimang 6 is powered by a 3340mAh battery with a thickness of 7.5mm. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Maimang 6 also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS.
Price and Availability
To begin with, the Huawei Maimang 6 will be available from September 30 in China at CNY 2399. We don’t have any information about when the phone will be available in other markets.
