Microsoft has silently launched the Micromax Selfie 3 smartphone in India. The main attraction of the Microsoft Selfie 3 is the integration of a 16MP front camera. Touted for selfie enthusiasts, the Micromax Selfie 3 will be available at $190 (INR 12000) in both Blue and Black color variants.
The Micromax Selfie 3 features a 5-inch FHD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. You will be able to experience an enhanced reading experience with the FHD display. The fingerprint sensor is housed on the rear side.
Powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor running at a clock speed of 1.4GHz, the Micromax Selfie 3 is equipped with Adreno 505 graphics, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal storage. The 3GB RAM will be sufficient for lag-free performance and the addition of 32GB storage helps you to store plenty of images and videos.
The rear side bears a 13MP camera with LED Flash. However, Micromax has integrated a Sony sensor instead of Samsung. The highlight of the Selfie 3 is the addition of a 16MP Samsung camera sensor coupled with a 52-MP Super Pixel Mode, LED Flash and Portrait mode.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Microsoft Selfie 3 provides support for dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The handset is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat, which enables you to experience the latest features such as split-screen, improved multitasking, and enhanced notifications.
The Micromax Selfie 3 gets the required power from the integrated 3000mAh battery, which will be capable of delivering up to four days of standby time upon normal usage.
In all probability, the Micromax Selfie 3 will be Flipkart exclusive and will be available at around Rs. 12000 with exchange and bank offers.
