Hisense has announced the launch of Hisense A2 Pro smartphone with a 5.5-inch AMOLED primary display coupled with a 5.2-inch e-ink secondary display. The smartphone looks identical to that of the Yotaphone, which also carries the similar design. The Hisense A2 Pro is currently available for presale on Jingdong (JD.com) and will be sold via flash sale on September 26.
In terms of display, the Hisense A2 Pro is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. Moreover, you will also find a 5.2-inch e-ink display on the rear. Powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, the Hisense A2 Pro also features 4GB RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage.
While the rear side bears a 12MP Sony IMX386 camera sensor, the front-facing camera offers a large 16MP sensor. Based on the optics specifications, we can infer that you will be able to capture excellent images and selfies. The camera will be accompanied by a LED Flash.
With a fingerprint sensor embedded on the side of the Hisense A2 Pro, the handset gets the required power via the 3090mAh battery. The phone also provides support for dual SIM cards alongside all major connectivity and sensors.
We don’t have any information about the price of the handset. To recall, the Hisense A2 is being sold for CNY 2599. Hence, we assume the Pro variant to cost CNY 500 more due to the integration of a dual display with e-ink functionality.’
