Amazon has launched a wide range of devices such as Amazon Echo 2nd Gen, Amazon Echo Plus, Amazon Echo Spot, Echo Connect, Echo Buttons, and 4K-enabled Fire TV. The products will be available starting November 2017 at an affordable rate. Amazon Echo series will improve productivity to a large extent since you can interact with them via voice.
Amazon Echo 2nd Gen
Priced at $99.99, the Amazon Echo 2nd Gen will be available in Heather Gray Fabric, Walnut Finish, Silver Finish, Sandstone Fabric, Charcoal Fabric, and Oak Finish. The new device is comparatively smaller with 148mm height with an overall diameter of 88mm. The Echo features seven microphones, which provides the capability to grab instructions from all corners of the room coupled with 360-degree audio. The top side features volume rockers including microphones without grills and Action buttons. The new Echo will be available starting November 2017.
Echo Plus
Amazon Echo Plus features an integrated ZigBee smart hub to enable you to control home. Amazon is offering free Philips Hue bulb to all customers. Expected to be available in November, the Echo Plus will be priced at $149.99 in White, Silver and Black color variants.
Echo Spot
Amazon Echo Spot is designed with a circular display coupled with a front camera. The Echo Spot features a 2W speaker. However, you will be able to connect external speakers using the traditional headphone jack. Priced at $129.99, the Amazon Echo Spot will be available in White and Black color variants.
Echo Connect
Amazon Echo Connect is a device exclusively oriented for voice calling and is designed in a black rectangular box. If you have access to a home phone service, you have to purchase Amazon Echo Connect to establish connectivity. You just need to plug in your phone line directly into the Echo Connect.
The contacts will sync with the Alexa app. You can then prompt other Echo devices to perform a call operation. You will be connected using your home line number. Expected to be available in December, the Echo Connect will cost $34.99.
Echo Buttons
With Amazon Echo Buttons, you can easily interact with other Echo devices in a fun way. It is possible to perform actions in such a way that to interact with buttons, sync including reacting to notifications. The Echo Buttons can also be used to play Alexa trivia games identical to that of a Quiz shows. The Echo Buttons will be available at $20 in a pack of two.
Fire TV (4K)
The attraction of Amazon Fire TV is the integration of 4K support with the ability to capture videos at 60fps. It also provides support for Dolby Atmos audio and HDR. The remote control will enable you to control Alexa with voice after pairing with the TV. Amazon has increased the capacity of the RAM to 2GB with 8GB internal storage. Powered by an Amlogic quad-core processor running at 1.5GHz, the Amazon Fire TV will be available starting October 25 at $69.99.
The above products will be available on Amazon USA in November 2017 during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
