LG has announced the launch of LG K7i smartphone in Brown color variant at Rs. 7990. The main attraction of LG K7i is the integration of Mosquito Away technology, which helps you to keep deadly mosquitoes at bay.

Launched during the sidelines of the ongoing India Mobile Congress, the LG K7i product package includes an additional rear cover. You have to place the cover on the phone when required. The cover includes an embedded speaker capable of producing ultrasonic frequencies, which will ultimately drive mosquitoes from your home.

Commenting on the launch, Amit Gujral, Chief Marketing Officer, LG Electronics India disclosed that the company has been making unique innovations and the smartphone is part of a new strategy. With the number of mosquito-related diseases increasing on a daily basis, the LG K7i helps in maintaining the health of consumers to a large extent by integrating technology into the real life.

The Mosquito Away technology works by generating 30KHz ultrasonic sound waves, which will not cause any harm to humans. Moreover, it will eliminate mosquitoes without using any harmful chemicals.

The new technology has been integrated on the speaker located on the additional rear cover. You need not have to refill the cover. After placing the rear cover, you need to keep the phone on the provided stand bundled with the device.
