LG V30 Expected To Hit US Shores On October 5

LG V30, the premium flagship smartphone will hit the US shores through AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon starting October 5. The handset will be available in both offline and e-commerce stores from October. There is no need to place any pre-order.

The company sources revealed to us that the LG V30 can be purchased on AT&T on the same day. If you would like to buy from retail stores, you need to wait till October 6. We don’t have any information about the pricing of the handset in all the three US-based mobile service providers.

LG also announced an offer with which if you purchase one LG V30, you will be eligible for another smartphone. However, this offer will be valid only if you add another line with AT&T Next upgrade program.

Talking about T-Mobile, the pre-orders will start on October 5. However, the phone will be available in both online and offline retail stores starting October 13. According to reports, the LG V30 will be priced at $800. You can also opt for monthly payment scheme by paying an initial payment of $80. After that, you will have to pay $30 per month for 24 months.

In terms of specifications, the LG V30 features a 6-inch P-OLED QHD (1440 x 2880, 537PPI) display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB expandable storage loaded with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. A 3300mAh battery supplies adequate power for the handset.

While the rear camera is equipped with a dual camera comprising of 16MP and 12MP sensors, the front-facing camera offers 5MP sensor. The back camera offers support for OIS, PDAF, LED Flash with face detection capabilities including HDR and panorama. The phone also provides support for water and dust resistant capabilities alongside wireless charging functionality.

On the design front, the LG V30 looks slick with thin bezels coupled with powerful hardware. The phone will compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, Xiaomi Mi Mix, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Essential phone and iPhone 8.
