Intex has launched budget-centric smartphone named Intex Aqua A4+ in Black and Champagne color variants at Rs. 3999. Touted as an upgraded version of Intex Aqua A4, the handset is currently available in select retail stores across India.
Powered by a Spreadtrum SC9822 processor, the Intex Aqua A4+ is equipped with a 4.5-inch display, 1GB RAM coupled with 8GB expandable (up to 64GB) internal storage. It is to be noted that the display only offers a resolution of 854×480 pixels.
While the rear side features a 5MP sensor with LED Flash, the front-facing camera offers a 2MP sensor. The integrated 2000mAh battery is capable of delivering a standby time of up to 300 hours and talk time of 8 hours.
The phone is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat, which helps you to play with all the latest features such as split-screen, enhanced notifications and improved power saving features. In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Intex Aqua A4+ provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, FM Radio and the traditional headphone port.
To recall, Aqua Lion 2 was launched recently with a 5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 5MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. Powered by a 2400mAh battery, the handset provides support for all major connectivity features and sensors.
We are not sure as to how Android Nougat will function with only 1GB RAM. That said, the handset will be suitable only for users who would like to work with a phone for phone and messaging.
