Microsoft Pushes Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17004 for PC With Bug Fixes

Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17005 Skip Ahead version with new features and improvements. However, the preview version is available only for those Windows Insiders who are in the fast ring. If you have joined Skip Ahead, you will continue to receive builds from the RS_PRERELEASE branch which has transitioned to RS4.

The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17004 for PC provides support for fluent design and you will be able to experience the feel on the Start menu. Microsoft also resolved several issues associated with Microsoft Edge. The new build resolves the text clearing issue, which occurs during the typing of a URL into the address bar.

The latest build also resolves keyboard layout change problem, tab previews, search box using CTRL+F in addition to recovery of tabs after dragging a tab between two Microsoft Edge windows. Moreover, you will not face issues with copy, paste and print dialog while working with the updated YouTube website.

The problem related to Ctrl+Click inside the PDF file has been fixed. Previously, users had reported that PDF pages were turned black upon scrolling. Microsoft has resolved the issue with the latest update including keyboard specific problems.

Regarding input improvements, the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17004 for PC resolves issues related to enter, delete keys in Facebook Messenger and full touch keyboard layout. You can now select long strings in single line editable text boxes since the recurring problem has been fixed.

Microsoft has added a new color wheel to Color & High Contrast Settings, which enables you to experience the change as soon as you modify the settings. After the installation of the build, you will find a Microsoft Edge shortcut on your desktop. In Skyrim, the Mod Organizer problem has been resolved. Moreover, the problem with the Win+X key has been resolved.
