Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Launch Event: How To Watch?

Google is scheduled to launch the next-generation Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL including other devices and smart accessories at a launch event in San Francisco. In addition to Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Google will also showcase various products such as smartphone speaker, PixelBook laptop and much more.

To watch the live event, you need to navigate to the official Made by Google YouTube channel at 9 AM PST in the USA. If you are based in the US and have access to media pass, you can directly watch the live event.

While fans based in the UK can watch the live event at 5MP British Time, the viewers located in India can watch at 9.30 PM IST. People in China are celebrating their National Holiday week but they will be able to watch the live event at 12 AM on October 5.

The standard Pixel 2 will be made available similar to the previous counterpart. However, the Pixel 2 XL will be most likely equipped with a bezel-less display with a higher display capacity. You can also expect increased RAM and internal storage capacity in the Pixel 2 XL when compared with Pixel 2.

According to rumor mills, the search engine giant will most likely ditch the 32GB storage variant and integrate 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. While the 64GB Pixel 2 will cost $649, the 128GB variant will be available at $749. In the case of Pixel 2 XL, the 64GB and 128GB storage models will cost $849 and $949 respectively.

Based on the rumors, Google will also unveil a PixelBook, which will function as a convertible. The advantage of Google PixelBook is that it can be used not only as a tablet but also as a laptop. Moreover, the search-engine giant will also launch a Pixel Pen stylus for $99. However, the stylus will be an optional accessory and will not be bundled with the product package.

Instead of Windows, the PixelBook will be pre-loaded with the latest version of Chrome OS and will be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage capacities starting at $1199. If you would like to buy the premium 512GB model, you need to pay $1749.

Along with Pixel 2 and PixelBook, Google will also launch a new Google Home Mini smart speaker powered by Google Assistant. The Mini version will not be compatible with Wi-Fi and will be available in several color options for $49. It seems that the company has launched the Mini version to compete with Amazon Alexa.

Meanwhile, the Google Daydream VR headset will have improved features than the previous counterpart and will ship with a motion controller. Expected to cost $99, the headset will be available in several color options.
