The tweet mentions that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will hit Indian shores on October 10 and also added #TheOriginalX hashtag and tagged the official Xiaomi India handle. Jain also shared an image of the upcoming smartphone on his tweet.
We can clearly visualize the bezel-less display on all the three sides except the bottom portion where few bezels have been left. We expect that the bezel will accommodate navigation keys including a fingerprint sensor.

The launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 assumes significance since the original Mi Mix was never launched in India. The launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will set a solid foundation and will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6.
Talking about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will be equipped with a 5.9-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor, 5MP front camera loaded with Android Nougat-based MIUI.
The display will have a resolution of 19:9 aspect ratio coupled with a pixel density of 403PPI. Xioami also released a special edition of the handset with 8GB RAM. We don’t have any idea as to whether the company will release the special edition in India. However, the chances are minimum because of marketing issues.
The rear camera provides support for the 5-piece lens, 4-axis optical image stabilisation alongside f/2.0 aperture. Moreover, the rear and front camera sensors are infused with facial recognition technology. In addition to 4G LTE, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, A-GPS including USB Type-C charging port.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is priced a CNY 3299 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. While the 6GB RAM/128GB storage is priced at CNY 3599, the 6GB RAM paired with 256GB storage is fixed at CNY 3999. When it comes to the Xiaomi special edition, the phone features an all-ceramic body, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and has been priced at CNY 4699.
