LEAGOO S8 Vs LEAGOO S8 Pro: Which one you should buy?

LEAGOO recently launched LEAGOO S8 and S8 Pro smartphones. The common core feature of the smartphones is the integration of a full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The company also released a hands-on video, which showcases all aspects of the handset.

While the LEAGOO S8 is equipped with a 5.72-inch Sharp bezel-less display with a resolution of 1440×1080 pixels, the S8 Pro provides a 5.99-inch Sharp display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. It is to be noted that both handsets feature 19:9 aspect ratio, which is common in devices with full-screen displays.

The LEAGOO S8 is powered by an MT6750T processor running at 1.5Ghz, while the LEAGOO S8 Pro offers Helio P25 processor running at a slightly higher 2.66Ghz. As it is evident from the specifications, the S8 Pro will offer improved performance when compared with the standard S8 handset.

The LEAGOO S8 will be equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Talking about the LEAGOO S8 Pro, the handset will ship with Samsung-branded 6GB RAM alongside 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage capacity. The Pro version will provide enhanced lag-free performance with fast read and write speeds.

The LEAGOO S8 features a dual camera on the rear comprising of 13MP and 2MP sensors. The front side also includes a dual camera with 8MP and 2MP capacities. When it comes to the LEAGOO S8 Pro, the rear camera ships with 13MP and 5MP sensors. On the front, the device comes with a 13MP sensor made by Samsung.

The S8 Pro is powered by a 3050mAh battery with support for 9V 1.5A fast charging. However, the S8 offers slightly less battery with 2940mAh with 5V 2A charging.

Naturally, the Pro variant is priced higher than the standard S8 model due to powerful features and specifications. The S8 will be available at $169.99, while the Pro model is priced at $299.99.

Based on the specifications, we recommend LEAGOO S8 Pro since it ships with a large display, powerful processor, and improved battery. Even though the price is higher, you will be able to work with a premium device not only to play games but also for web browsing and app navigation.
