AT&T has rolled out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update to the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime smartphone. The update is currently being pushed via OTA for the handset with model number J320A. It will take few days for the update to hit your smartphone depending upon the region.
With baseband version number J320AUCU2AQI5, the update to Samsung Galaxy Express Prime brings in the full-blown Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Moreover, the update including Wi-Fi and video calling capabilities.
The latest update also ships with the required BlueBorne security patch in the form of a fix. The update also comes with several bug fixes as per the feedback including performance enhancements.
Regarding Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the update ships with features such as split-screen, refreshed notifications, app shortcuts, improved navigation including enhanced battery life via Doze.
The whole update measures more than 1GB in size and hence you should activate Wi-Fi to avoid excess data charges. The handset should be charged completely to avoid interruptions. If you have 40% battery, then you should plug the device into the AC power.
