Nokia 8 With 6GB RAM & 128GB Storage Launched: Specifications and Price

HMD Global has released a new variant of the Nokia 8 smartphone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in Finland at a price you cannot afford. According to Industry analysts, the move will make Nokia one step ahead of the competition in a bid to fight with smartphone giants such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo, and Oppo.

The specifications of the newly launched variant are identical to the 4GB RAM model. The only difference is with the RAM and storage capacities. The Nokia 8 features a 5.3-inch IPS QHD (1440 x 2560, 554PPI) display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

While the rear side is equipped with dual camera sensors comprising of 13MP sensors, the front camera also bears a 13MP sensor with support for phase detection autofocus. The rear camera also provides support for PDAF, OIS and dual-LED flash.

The addition of a 6GB RAM is a big advantage of customers since they can play games without any lags. A 3090mAh battery with fast charging support completes the package.

The Nokia 8 was initially released with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Even though it is sufficient for normal use, the demand or more storage increased because different consumers have separate requirements.

With the introduction of 128GB storage, you need not have to purchase additional memory cards since the default space will be self-sufficient for the normal purpose. We don’t have any clear idea about the availability of the new model in countries outside Finland but we will keep track on the developments.

According to listings on Verkkokauppa retailers, the Nokia 8 with 6GB RAM is priced at EUR 649.99 with monthly installments.
