BLU has announced the launch of Blue S1 smartphone with Android Nougat in Gray, Gold and Black color variants at $179. The newly unveiled handset is available from AT&T, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile including Amazon.com.
Designed with a polycarbonate body, the Blu S1 features a 5.2-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6750 processor, Mali-T860 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset helps you to work with the latest features such as split-screen functionality, improved multitasking, and enhanced notifications.
While the rear camera offers a 13MP sensor, the front camera bears a 5MP sensor. Powered by a 2800mAh battery, the Blu S1 smartphone also includes a fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical home button.
With a weight of 137 grams, the Blu S1 measures 8.4mm in thickness. The handset provides support for 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS including a micro USB port. We don’t have any information about when the company will launch the handset in countries outside India.
