Gionee is well known for launching several smartphones once in every month. The latest news is that an unknown smartphone with model number Gionee F205 has surfaced on GFXBench. The listing exposes the complete specifications of the rumored handset.
According to GFXBench, the Gionee F205 will be equipped with a 5-inch display with a less-known resolution of 1440×920 pixels. The listing mentions that the display will provide support for five finger gesture.
The upcoming handset will be powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor running at a clock speed of 1.5GHz. Moreover, the Gionee F205 will ship with Power VR Rogue GE8100 graphics manufactured by Imagination Technologies. We expect the phone will provide support for Virtual Reality.
On the internals, the Gionee F205 will carry 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera alongside the 5MP front camera.
Like in the case of all the benchmarking results, the specifications are trimmed to 1.8GB RAM and 10GB storage. The handset will be pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which enables you to work with all the latest features such as split-screen, improved notifications, and enhanced power saving mode via Doze.
In addition to WiFi, the Gionee F205 provides support for Bluetooth and GPS including standard sensors such as proximity, compass, barometer, and accelerometer. We don’t have any specific information about the pricing but we will continue to keep track of the developments.
