The Nokia 3310 3G is currently available in the United States via Best Buy at $59.99. The phone will be available in Azure, Charcoal, Red and Yellow color variants.
Even though the e-commerce retailer has listed the Nokia 3310 3G smartphone, the device will not ship immediately because the current listing is for pre-order. The Nokia 3310 3G will ship as soon as the stocks reach the warehouse from the HMD Global distributor.
With model number TA-1036 CHARCOAL, the Nokia 3310 3G will be unlocked with support for dual-SIM. The listing states that the feature phone will be available on October 29. However, we expect you to receive the handset after a gap of three days because of shipping delays.
The core problem with the Nokia 3310 3G is that the handset will work only with GSM mobile service providers such as T-Mobile and AT&T. The listing specifically states that the phone won’t work with Boost Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, Sprint or CDMA networks. The phone will also be compatible with Net10, H2O, GoPhone, Simple Mobile, Tracfone and Cricket Wireless.
The Nokia 3310 3G is equipped with a 2.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. With a 2MP rear camera, the handset ships with 16MB expandable storage and support for FM Radio. Interestingly, Best Buy has marked that the phone is not water resistant. Can we really expect a water-resistant capability for this price?
The advantage of the phone is that it is integrated with Bluetooth support for establishing connectivity with other devices. The handset is pre-loaded with classic Snake game. BestBuy is also offering protection packages for one and two years at $19.99 and $29.99 respectively.
